Tasha Bynum, Herbalist, Reiki Master, LMT WI#5067-146

I graduated from East West Healing Arts Institute in Madison, WI in 2005, as a Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in both eastern (Acupressure, TuiNa Massage, Fire Cupping) and western (Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Release, Reflexology, Aromatherapy) modalities.

I got my start working in a clinical pain management setting, mentoring with Dr.XiPing Zhou, O.M.D, providing medical massage to patients from 2004 - 2006.  I went out on my own and founded Sacred Rhythms Wellness Center in Madison, where I was blessed with a thriving practice from 2005-2016.

 

Our family moved to the country in Lake Mills in 2016 to start an organic vegetable & herb farm, Urban Gourmet Family Farm.  At the time of the move, I was also getting a handle on a medical diagnosis  -hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) - a inherited connective tissue disorder.  

 

My educational focus shifted to include other holistic healing modalities, and from 2018 to 2022, I've studied Herbal Medicine, Deep Nature Connection & Animism, totaling over 1000 hours (you can check all that out below).  My journey with chronic pain, and the bundle of oddities that comes with living with hEDS, has and continues to be one of my greatest teachers...as are the plants and other than human world.

At the present moment, I share my time between working with clients, raising two beautiful kiddos, supporting the family farm from behind the scenes and continuing my learnings in herbal medicine, nature connection & land stewardship.
